Happy 1.11.11

I think I'm starting to have a little to much fun with matching dates (It all started when I got engaged), he he. Anyway, yesterday was Hub's and I 6 month wedding anniversary (I know, it seems cliche to be still celebrating these little anniversaries, but its the last month one we plan on celebrating). We both had the day off work yesterday and pretty much just had a quiet day at home, along with the snow outside. Yes it was snowing out, whoo hoo (it doesn't snow here to frequently). Last night for supper Hubs took me out for dinner to celebrate. We ended up going to the Macaroni Grill http://www.macgrillbc.com/Pages/?p=f357e200-ddcf-41a3-a013-d772396f080c. We love the Macaroni Grill because it has a great atmosphere and amazing food without breaking the bank. We both started off with a Bellini and I have to say its one of the two best Bellini's I've ever had (the other being at the Old Spaghetti Factory). For supper we decided to go with the Paesano Dinner (sorta buffet style but all served to your table). For $50 we got:

-Italian Bread with Balsamic Vinegar/Olive Oil and Black Pepper
-Insalata: Ceasar Salad and Garden Salad (There were 3 types of salads to choose from)
-Antipasti: Bruschetta and Sicilian Pizza (We picked 2 of the 4 options)
-Entree: Sirloin Firenza and Chicken Scaooppine (We picked 2 of 5)
-Pasta: Sausage and Pepper Classico, Fettucine Alfredo and Pasta Milano (Picked 3 of 5)
-Dessert: Cheesecake, Tiramisu, or Italian Chocolate Cake (Pick 2 for an extra $3.00 per person) (We didn't have dessert we were to full)

Each course was refillable, so if we wanted another entree or pasta we could keep ordering it. Definitly a delicious meal and lots of leftovers to bring home with us.
