2020 in Review

1. What did you do in 2020 that you’d never done before?
Lived through a world pandemic with Covid-19 and took a temp job on an amazing project with a new gov department.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Not really, the gym fell by the wayside for most of the year once the pandemic hit which is unfortunate as DH and I were starting to make some really good progress. Here are my resolutions for this year:

2021 resolutions:
  1. Continue going to the gym
  2. Eat healthier and drink more water
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully no, have had enough passings the last couple of years.

5. What places/countries did you visit?
Due to the pandemic we didn’t venture to far. We did manage a trip up island to Powell River and spent a week camping and a few days at the in-laws cabin. Before the pandemic hit we spent a weekend on Galiano island. We took a mini vacation this September to Port Hardy and did a lot of exploring and enjoying the great outdoors! We celebrated our 10th anniversary this year and we’re supposed to be going on an amazing Mexico trip but due to the pandemic, I booked us a night away at the Laurel Point Inn in downtown Victoria. Was nice to get away and explore a bit of downtown Victoria.

A new pair of fluevog shoes and we added an extra bank of cupboards in our kitchen and shelving on either side of our fire place. I will do a post on this in the new year!

New kitchen cupboards and shelves in our living room and a new dishwasher.
