Thought I would pop on and say a quick hi. Nothing too new or exciting happening right now in my life. Sometimes thats a good thing as no news is good news! The weather has been pretty crappy. Rainy and grey skies for the most part. Can't wait too see some sunshine and warmer days again (although I do count my blessings that we've only had frost 3 times so far this winter).
We're still looking at doing a family vacation in the spring. Just waiting on the deals to start happening (hopefully). Would love to spend another 2 weeks in the fun and sun!
School is going great. I'm back on track again (I fell behind by 3 days thanks to Christmas). I wrote my first exam the other day and got 100% on my theory part and 95% on my written portion. So I'm pretty thrilled with my results.
Also there must really be something in the water these days. A coworker became a grandma again to a beautiful little girl. Another coworker is pregnant and her sister is a due a month after her. 6 wonderful ladies who's blogs I follow are all expecting, and one oh Hub's friends is expecting. It's definitly going to be the year of babies!
We also just updated a bunch of lights in our home. We had a horrible old brass and glass chandelier in our dining room and replaced it with a more modern looking light. We also replaced the lights in our entrance way and hallway and just have 1 left to replace in our spare room. It's amazing how such a little change can have such a big impact. The rest of our home is pretty much reno'd and this little bit helps even more.

2 weeks into 2013!
Holy moly, we are already 2 weeks into 2013 and already I'm off to a horrible start with my blogging. I have so many updates to give including Cuba, our Christmas, more about our home, etc thatI don't know where to start.
Right now school is keeping me a little preoccupied and busy (I have an exam coming up pretty quick) but I promise to be back to posting pretty quick.
One awesome update I do have is my mom's latest MRI showed her tumor shrunk and she can return back to work! I'm so happy and excited. She's pretty much in "remission" and will go back for follow up check ups from here on out.
